Ghost House is a spooky action platform game that takes place in Count Dracula's creepy, haunted castle. It was developed for the Sega MAster System in 1986.

Review
Ghost HouseSTORY / GAMEPLAY
You're a young vampire hunter (named Mick!) and your main goal is to destroy all five vampire creatures in each stage, before proceeding to the next. You battle with various enemies mainly...ghosts as you progress to the next level. You can either punch or jump on them to defeat them. But be careful, as part of those bloodthirsty enemies you may cope with flying arrows! Just duck to avoid or jump on them...to kill! Another thing you have to do is to collect a sword on each level which will be really useful to defeat the vampires! Everywhere you go you have to confront bats flying towards your face, mummies that chase you up and down the ladders and creatures that throw fireballs resulting in your instant death. Ghost House is a typical platform game with some action elements, in which you'll probably spent some time playing. I personally liked it a lot!

GRAPHICS / SOUND
The graphics use proper colors and smooth sprites animation. I was actually expecting some more detail on the backgrounds but for a game released in mid 80s, I think this wouldn't be so feasible! The house itself looks nice and offers some cool twitches here and there like lamps, fireplaces and coffins filling its rooms. The sound is also good, based on some cool in-game tunes and some adequate sound FX.
